We’ve looked at access roads to two power plants in Shannonbridge, Co.Offaly and Castlelost, Co. Westmeath to compare to the proposed access road at Gortlusky between Portumna and Killimor in County Galway. Directing 50+ HGV trucks up a narrow local road for over 2 years during the construction phase of this development would be a huge burden for road users on this windy stretch of road. The dangers are self-evident from the video in comparison to the other sites mentioned above.
